In the process of redesigning structural skids, assumptions that the new design would consume less material and labor needed to be verified. Primary calculations were based on comparing 10 skids previously built and comparing their recorded material usage to a replica skid that follows the new design. This data set was limited and focused only on one style of skid. I then created python simulations that creates 10,000 old design vs new design data sets.
